For how long does chest hair grow?!
Question: Hello, i am 15 years old (16 in may) and noticed that i started growing chest hair about a year ago. At first i only had a strip of it near my belly button, relatively short hair, but a few months ago i started growing some tiny hairs all over my chest. They have grown a bit longer over the past couple of months. The ones near the bottom of my stomach are maybe 1/3 of an inch and the ones on my chest are tiny. My dad is a gorilla.... not that im into guys but it looks gross to me and i dont see why i woman would like it. I mean he has hair ALL over his back, his chest, his entire body. My mom's side of the famiyl doesnt have much chest hair though. SO my question is how long will my chest hair grow for? will i probably end up like an ape or just have some chest hair?
P.S. i started puberty younger than most guys i know, if i remember correctly i had facial hair when i was 11 and my voice was very deep for my age, so im kinda far along.

It sounds like you're gonna be hairy. I wish my chest had more hair, but I don't. Don't be ashamed of it, it shows that you're growing into a man, and women love to run their hands through a guy's chest hair.
sounds like you could possibly be the newest ape of the family. Especially with the hair growth and thickening that you're describing.
Hate to break this news to you, but it only gets worse. The older you get, you start sprouting hair from places you thought you couldn't get hair--nose, ears, butt, around the ears, etc.
I'm sure you've heard of David Hasslehoff? Just look how successful he's been and his chest hair is still growing. It will never stop growing, as long as you're alive, as long as i'm alive, chest hair will continue to grow as long as there is life on earth. Good luck
Cool thats good, well chest hair can be like 2cm, but it grows when you're older.
I'm 14 and I have it my chest hair is around that.
I'm OK with it, but it doesn't really bother me. And, some girls do like it, and your friends will be jelious.
It depends on genetics, usually the one with hair gene should stand out more but you can tell. Its likely to go to the fathers side, but you honestly can't tell.
