Can I still grow in height?

How tall is your mom?

My mom was 4'10" and my dad was 6'2", according to the height calculator on the Parenting Magazine website, I was supposed to be 5'8" tall. I'm 6'6", go figure.

Youll keep growing dont worry

You might as well forget about playing for the Spurs, but the Nets could use a center.

yes u can still grow atl;east 3 till 18 and maybe even 1 till 21

yes, you can get an xray and they can look at how your bones are composed to tell ya how much growin ya got left.

Males typically grow until about 25, so there is still a chance. Many men grow to be taller than their fathers these days as well.

My brother grew past 19.

males usually don't stop growing until the age of 21. But it's all in your genes man!!!

Yup,
Just Hope You Got The Recessive Traits For Your Mom And Dads Height! You Never Know, You Might Grow Another Foot!

probably not because you are 17 im short so i would give anything to be your height

Well the averagely aging of men are 20...and women..16...so..i think yeah. Try your best =D

yes you can. Most people hit two growth sports.

I was about 6'0.5" last year. I grew another inch. I'm 19 now.

I don't see you hitting 5'11" though

some guys grow til they're 21. my husband grew 2 inches after he turned 20. he is now 6'3".

yes i believe guys grow until they are 21. You may grow a few more inches.

dunno but im 6'2 lol and my mums 5'8, dads 5'8 or so. but apparently my uncles 6' something. so might be a good idea to check you whole family. btw im 18 this year

Compare yourself to your brothers when they were 17, that's probably the best guide.

I think most guys keep growing until they're 20, but it really slows down. If you're like me, you might get another inch after 17. But maybe you'll be luckier.

I turned 18 couple months ago, and last year I grew about half an inch, but overall thats pretty much it, you wont get any taller, but dnt panic. 5`6 is not too bad.

Oh yeah, don't even worry, you'll still be growing for another good 3-4 years. The question is, how much you will be growing in those 3-4 years... Dun Dun Dun!

Hope I helped. :D

you might. i think you will. usually it goes like if you're taller than everyone you're whole life you end up being average height, but if you're shorter you grow more later.

nah! dont expect too much!
probably an inch.

when i was 14, i was 5'3 then within 3 years i gained 5 inches in my height.. so i was 17 back then...
but now im turning 19 and my height remained the same!

family members are pretty tall too!

You may or may not grow taller. But you are already 5 6. That is okay. Worry about your grades.

There is every possibility that you will grow further. Some people do not stop growing until they are 23. You might be more like your mother in height.

oh yeah man don't sweat it... you'l keep growing til your 21.

Well you do MOST of your growing during puberty, and puberty usually ends between ages 16 and 18 in men. I would assume that you are close to the end of puberty.

However, your body will not stop growing usually until you are 19-20. I cannot cite any sources for this, but as a reference, my mom is 5'9, my father is 5'11, and I went from 5'11 to 6'0 from when I turned 17 to when I turned 18. Since your parents are much taller than you, and height is very reflective of your parents genes, you could probably expect at least another inch and possibly a couple more.

I think you will grow at least a couple of more inches...when i was 16 i was 5'9 and now i am 5'11 so the waiting payed off. good luck with it though.
