Does oversleeping and undersleeping affect your growth?!


Question: during the weekdays i get normally 8-9 hours sleep
but in the weekend i lie in to around 11-12 hours lol,
is this bad for me cos i'm 15,
my friend is like u won't grow is that true

believe it or not, you actually grow every night when you are in bed. see, when you wake up and start walking around, you actually get a little shorter because of gravity. so i guess if you stay in bed for a long time, you could get really tall! just kidding, the total amount you grown and shrink each night and day is about 3 inches.

each person requires a certain amount of sleep to maintain health and their feelign of well being. and the amount can vary as you age. however more than 9 hours is probably a bit much for age 15. better to be up and moving after 9.
