The best time to shave is during or after taking a shower, because the hair and follicles are softened and will come off easier (this goes for ANY area of your body!). If you can't do it during or after a shower, just try putting a warm, moist wash cloth over the area you're going to shave beforehand and letting it sit for a few minutes. This will not only make shaving easier, but it'll decrease the amount of itching or redness that you might get.

When you shave, use a good razor. Also use a moisturizing shaving cream.

After shaving, wipe any loose hair away with a warm, moist wash cloth. Then pat-dry the area with a clean towel (PAT PAT PAT! Don't rub the area dry or you'll be more prone to itchiness!). If you need to, use some moisturizing lotion afterwards--preferably an after-shave lotion or something marked specifically for sensitive skin or shaving, but regular moisturizing lotion should be okay.

If you do all this and still find yourself with a rash, I'd recommend seeing a doctor. I don't think it's serious at all, just putting that out on the table!

P.S. - When shaving pubic hair, always trim it short first, then shave WITH the grain first. After you've done that, then shave LIGHTLY against the grain to get the last stubs. But if you can get it all going with the grain

Why did you shave it in the first place? Maybe a trim if it is bothersome, but not completely.

hahaha Its razor burn girls get it all the time. Its ganna itch bud and there is nothing you can really do about it.. Uhhm it depends on how long your hair grows back.. prolly like a week it wont be full again but hair will be back lol ... And there is no danger at all for shaving everyone does it. hahah Good luck.

its called razor burn
best cure
aloe lotion

why did u shave it. you should have got it professionally waxed, if you are self consiouse. shaving only trims the hair leaving it prically and ichy.

3 days that's the maximun time. Next time don't shave it.... Just leave the bush grow !!!! it's sexy.... ( hahahahahaha).

yeah bro its going to itch like hell
especially if it is your first time....
i shave down there regulary.... but i dry shave it with an electric razor...
but either way its going to itch for weeks bro... and until your skin gets use to it being shaved , if you plan on shavin it regulary... you can get red irritated areas down there.. sorta like pimples in a way,,, same thing if you shave your faces n kneck and get the red areas.. all they are is heat bumps/shave bumps
best thing to do is after you shave... wash down there with warm water an soap... pat it dry... and put some shaving lotion on there... like the gel or something.. it wil probably burnm for a bit... but thats okay... let that dry for several hours and take some body lotion and apply it down there.. several times aday to keep it moisturized...
it probably will take months and months to grow back fullly... but u will get stub hairs a few days after shaving it..
it just takes time to get use to it.. i recommend to do it.. the ladies love it..

1. it doesn't matter what you you use just keep down there moisturized with lotion or much better A&D ointment

2.3-6 weeks to grow back and the itching will last about two weeks

3.every morning and/or every night

4.the only danger would be an infection from using a dirty razor, which A&D ointment will clear up

hope i helped

There is no danger from shaving down there, unless you cut yourself or use a rusty blade.
It will take a couple of months most likely to have hair again.
Aveeno lotion--made with oatmeal is soothing, Benadryl works good, you could take it orally(pill form of course) help you sleep and take care of the itch.
Hope this helps!!!

It will itch like crazy while growing back in. Get some "Bikini Zone" (it's for this purpose and is found in the store in the isle where hair removal stuff is) and see if it helps. The danger from shaving your pubic hairs is exactly what you are experiencing now. There is no real danger, just itching. Keep it shaved. Lotion may help. Be sure to use a lot of soap or shaving cream when you shave. Never dry shave. It may take months for it to grow back the way it was, but only about 2 or 3 weeks to get past the itchy stage. If you just shaved, you are gonna be itchy for about a week. You may be one of the ones that has very sensitive skin and won't be able to shave there.

1. honestly try some crisco, not a lot, but it should relieve the burning itching.
2. i've done this before, it will probably all be back in about 6-8 weeks.
3. dude it will only itch while its stubby, try wearing boxers
4. just dont cut your nuts or penis off, but other than that your safe.
5 hook it up bro been there done that

1. Don't scratch. Use some good aloe lotion, or other such lotion to soothe the area.
2. A month to several months to come in completely depending on how fast your hair grows. I did the same thing when I was your age. The ribbing I took in the locker room was the worst thing.
3. Whenever it bothers you.
4. Cutting yourself, or getting hair bumps. Again, the crap I took from the other guys my age was the worst fallout.
I just had another pubic shave on one side only for a heart cathertization and now just less than 2 months later one can't tell the difference.

1. Neosporin with Pain Relief (the gel stays better than the cream, may have to explain some sticky underwear to mom)
2. How long was it before? It took me about a month when I made this same mistake myself once. And the itching was even WORSE when the stubble appeared, sorry to tell you.
3. As often as needed
4. Cuts, rashes, ingrown hairs, going insane from the itch, vulnerable parts no longer protected (the hair is there for a reason you know)
5. I just wish you good luck. I think many people make this mistake. Once.

Advice for the future: DON'T SHAVE. Trim carefully and judiciously as needed.

1. What do I do about the itching, what should I use?

nothing can stop it (its the hair growing into your skin) just wait till more grows back and the itching will go away gradually. also posture, the way you sit can effect the way you feel down there.

2. How long will it take to grow back? And how long will the itch last?

about a week after that you should be good. when your hair grows back

3. What and how often should I apply the creme or save from question 1?

to prevent the itching if you decide to shave again :s, shave in the direction your hair grows (with the grain) that greatly reduces the itching and shave bumps.

4. What is the danger from me shaving my pubic hair, I'm 15.

the tall tale the it will grow back thicker which i don't believe, you make your self more susceptible to catching diseases cuz its not skin to skin contact during intercourse. other than that nothing, you feel alot more free and probably "look" bigger.

have fun!!

Okay so i shave all the time, it itched for the first....3/4 times i did it.
Now it doesn't itch at all.
The more you do it the less it itches.
Brilliant!
And just use moisturizer and in the shower, warm warm water, don't use too much soap either because it can sting.
Everyone grows back at different times. After 2-3 DAYS you may notice it growing back, it could be as short as a week before it is all back. By boyfriend shaves and he gets itchy, he's 17 but still there is no danger, just keep the area clean! Avoid underwear that will rub. Before you put moisturizer on put a cold towel on the area and it can sooth itchiness.
Hope i helped
Oh and DONT SCRATCH IN PUBLIC
