If you can see the little piece of skin, you've pulled the foreskin completely over the edge of the head (glans). That's far enough.
It's a good idea to get it that far every now and then, or the foreskin will become constricted, and it will be painful to have sex later on when you're old enough for that.
Plus you want the foreskin back to fully clean your penis in the shower, or else smelly gunk will build up inside.
