It depends on the individual doctor, and the way the person heals. Also the drs suggest not to have unprotected sex until the samples show no sperm, although some men never get the sample checked! Sometimes it can unfix itself causing the man not to be sterile anymore.

There is no set time. Most are in the six week period, but you should wait until a doctor clears you after several blank samples.
after about 3 weeks for sex +/-. To not be fertile-well you need to test your semen regularly till there are no "swimmers", SPERM! Till that happens, CONDOM TIME!
It only took me a week. I never had any pain. I only waited a week because the doctor said not to get the incisions wet for a week. When I have sex, the ladies natural lubricant gets all over down there. I wanted to avoid any risk, of infection.
Most of the guys, I know, said they only took a week.
