I am exhausted and didnt realize what he had drank until this morning. Any thoug!

Question: Last nite I went to bed at around 11 pm. I had to go to the doctor early to get a return to work release since I had an appey 2 weeks ago. My significant other was in the kitchen supposedly eating soup when I went to bed. I woke up at 1 AM with him tossing and turning and he reeked of alcohol. I coulnt sleep because he was yelling and sighing loudly in his sleep. This went on for 4 1/2 hours until I got up to watch TV.
I was throwing away some trash and realized a bottle of apricot brandy I had stored on top the fridge 1/2 full was empty in the trash. I am assuming he drank it. It was 70 proof and I cant believe he drank that entire bottle of brandy.
I left early to go to the doctor and was totally exhausted when I got back home to find him still in my bed. He was in my bed from sometime after 11 pm last nite until about 2pm today. He keeps doing this over and over
I need him to knock it off and I have decided not to give him a key to my home. How would you handle him?

Um, talk to HIM. Not random people in the yahoo answers community. We don't know your boyfriend, so we really can't help. You do! Talk to him about it! Don't make any decisions based on what these people say.

get rid of his butt. he's gonna drag you down. thank God you didn't give him a key!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's a friggen bum.

If he is just your boyfriend then try to break it off with him.......these are bad signs. That's ignorant to come into someone else's household and drink (especially without them). Do what's best for you and good luck.

Bring your feelings to his attention. Tell him how it's making you feel. If he continues and seems not to care then I would say the relationship is over. Most alcoholics will eventually turn to violence.

I wish like h@ll I had never gotten involved with an alcohol abuser. Don't even think about trying to fix him! Nip it in the bud now; get him out of your life.
