EXPERT PLZ - How hard is it to drop 1% Body Fat?!
Question: I have 2 questions. Here's the first: How hard was it for you to drop about 1% of fat? (how long with what kind of work out)
First of all, I'm a guy, 23. I use the device that you hold onto and it sends a current through your body to measure your fat %.
5 years ago - I was at a very high 25% body fat
2 years ago - I was at 20% from jogging/push ups/crunches every night
Now I'm at 15% which is better, but I really want to get a 6 pack, or at least close to it.
Here's the second: Is it gonna take another 2 years to get down to 10%? (at my current rate of exercise)
My daily work out (30 minutes)
- I'm 5'11, 185
- I jog 2 miles, 8 min pace
- 60 push ups, 60 crunches
- 5 pull ups
- some bench press, machines at the gym in my apartment (it sucks)
- I eat fairly healthy

WHY!? most skin tight body builders are 6%! You get that far down and you would not be able to walk 100 feet and not black out! Totally unhealthy goal!
infact-in the Army, the guys with 8-9% would burn out on road marches faster than guys with 12+-fat reserves were fuel. You better do your "real" homework, or you'll really hurt yourself-like heart damage, kidney damage!!!!!! Alot of stress getting and staying under the 9% lvl!!!!(why do yuo think Bodybuilders only hit 6-8% for shows and then chow out the rest of the season? you'll run on fumes at 9% or less!
