It's possible to get herpes off a wet towel if the person has JUST used it right then, and there's speculations, but no proof at all, if you can get it off toilet seats.
You most likely have something non-STI related.
Also, the bumps you get from herpes are VERY painful to pop, if this is not the case, it draws you further away from herpes.
Go see a doctor or something.
