Whenever I have wet dreams, I get a pain in prostate, what is it?!

Question: I am 18 years old and I don't masturbate because even with lube it irritates my penis.

Answers: I am 18 years old and I don't masturbate because even with lube it irritates my penis.

The most common cause of prostate pain, especially in younger males, is not ejaculating often enough. According to a survey of over 10,000 males by the web site HealthyStrokes.com in the second half of 2007, the average 18-year-old male masturbates 7.7 times per week and has an orgasm with a partner 1.1 times per week. (There were 627 males age 18 in the survey.)

According to the same survey, only 14 percent of 18 year olds still have wet dreams. 44 percent never had them, 31 percent stopped having them when they learned to masturbate, and 11 percent had them for a while afterward.

Frequent adolescent masturbation is also good for your prostate in another way; Dr. Graham Giles of Australia found that males who masturbated most often in their teens and 20s had the least incidence of prostate cancer later. He recommends masturbating at least 6 times per week.

You are supposed to enjoy ejaculating, and most males your age practice it daily or more. Try using different brands and types of lubes (e.g., water based, silicone), and even try it wearing a condom until you can find a method that doesn't irritate you. Most males who get irritated tend to avoid touching their penile head and instead stroke the shaft.

Do you have a roomate? If so, he's probably having his way with you while you sleep.

That sounds weird, but when I orgasm sometimes it hurts my prostate a little too. I think it's because of the force. Shoot like a pornstar...suffer like a middle aged man.
