Does this matter at all?!

Question: I am reposting this question one more time. This is an anatomy question so its not meant to be gross. Does it matter what so ever if your penis is uncirmusized (or however you spell it) or not?

If you keep it clean, you're no worse off than a circumcised guy. And cleaning shouldn't be an issue; you only have to pull it back and rub the head when you shower. It takes 5 to 10 seconds and feels good. Otherwise, you also have advantages, so don't feel bad about it. In a relationship it shouldn't matter. The only legitimate reason a girl should complain is if it's dirty, but then that would be your fault for being lazy. Relax.

Circumcision has become less common. Circumcision rates were as high as 90% back in the 1960s and 1970s (that's partly why today's adults are so... brainwashed, I supposed you could say, about thinking that circumcision is better) but they have fallen to as low as 14% in some states. Here are the statistics:
http://www.cirp.org/library/statistics/U...

The USA is the last developed nation doing it to a large number of newborns without religious or medical needs. (Europeans, Latin Americans, Japanese, and most Australians, Canadians, and Asians don't circumcise):

Why?

There's pain involved, often why doctors don't want you in the room when it's done:

http://www.pslgroup.com/dg/1f21e.htm
(you can search online for a circumcision video, too)

In a medical study, it was found that females are more likely to hit orgasm with an uncircumcised man:
http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/...

The lubricated foreskin (on the inside... like your eyelids) slides up and down during sex and masturbation to stimulate the head (which is why you don't hear of uncircumcised guys needing lube to masturbate).

Studies have found that circumcision reduces sensitivity (this article also mentions how it has lost popularity in the USA in recent times):
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,2855...

And despite being more sensitive, uncircumcised guys still last in the same six minute range (average) that circumcised guys do:

Circumcision makes masturbation more difficult:
http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs...

Which makes sense, that's how circumcision was promoted in the USA:

Increases erectile dysfunction rates:

If too much skin is removed in circumcision, it can make the penis smaller since the penis needs some skin to expand during an erection:

Circumcision does not completely stop penile cancer. The American Cancer Society has already confirmed the myth that circumcision = no cancer.
http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/conten...

If circumcision did stop penile cancer, then penile cancer would not be more common in the USA (most circumcised adults) than in some European nations, where circumcision is not practiced other than for medical/religious reasons.
http://www.circumstitions.com/Cancer.htm...

And a new study found that circumcision does not reduce your chances to get HIV/AIDS. Unlike other studies, this one was done in a developed nation; the USA.

no

In general, no it does not matter.
In specifics, It can matter.

Uncircumcised penises will cause more health problems for the woman in the form of yeast infections and the like.

There is also the fact that it is a sign of belief and following in God, as it was mandatory for Jews in Moses(?) time frame.

No. Most men in the world are uncircumcised (about 80%) and it's only common in certain countries like the US and in the Middle East. However, it is done very often in the US (65% of all boys) and Jews and Muslims in all parts of the world get circumcised as well. So both are considered normal and common but does not significantly affect size, health or sexual performance.

There are some small benefits to circumcision and their are also some drawbacks. Uncircumcised penises are more sensitive because they have more nerves and the head is always protected. Circumcised penises are easier to keep clean. Other than that it's simply a question of asthetics. Some people think circumcised ones look "better" or "neater" and others prefer the natural look and think that a circumcised penis looks "mutilated". But all in all it doesn't really matter one way or the other.

My personal belief is that our bodies are designed the way they were for a reason and unless you have some kind of medical problem that makes it a necessity, circumcision is pointless and unnecessary. Most importantly, I think it should be up to the individual themselves whether or not they want to be circumcised, not the parents or the religion. And since the circumcision operation is painful, it shouldn't be done on infants at all. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But if a person chooses to get circumcised for whatever reason, they should be able to make an informed decision, just like any other cosmetic surgery.

3 word...

HYGIENIC..

No, it certainly doesn't matter. You were born with your foreskin, so its perfectly normal and natural!

overall, no
as long as you can pee and ejculate thru it it is fine

It does if you don't need to be because of a tight foreskin or other problem. Most women find sex more pleasureable and reach orgasam more often when a man is not circumcised. If you wash properly and take care to ensure good hygeine you will have no problems. The foreskin makes it a lot less irritating on the vagina also, making it much more enjoyable, for both partners. Why would anyone have their penis shone of their skin when there is no reason to. All these that have had it done have been lied to, and told it is better because it will help with sexually transmitted diseases which is a lie also. How does taking the skin off make it easier to clean? You still have to wash the darn thing! Get real people, the barbaric days of old are gone, and so are wives tales. The truth is uncircumcised is better, and looks better then being differently colored and and scared. Good Luck young man. Thats the rest of the story they don't tell you!

It's good because it probably means more sexual sensation for you and quite possibly partners too. There's nothing wrong with having a natural penis...don't let the circumcised people try to talk you into thinking there's something wrong with you.
