Different men have different preferences, and chances are that it would take a bit of knowing a guy to find out what he likes (unless he's very forward). I'd probably say though that neatly trimmed would be a safe bet for most guys, and that once you get to know them better, you can base what you do upon that.

Depends on the man.Some men enjoy hunting in the bush while others like the open plains! I prefer a trimmed lawn but not down to the dirt.( I don't like hairs in my eyes/teeth)

I;m still a virgin @ 23,and not in a relation ship...so i dunno if my opinions count....but I would be kinda horrified if I see a lady not shaved down there....I suppose Its cause of some much media exposure...us guys are not used to seeing unshaved nether regions...
A better way to ask the question is what ladies seem to be doing.
The trend--and this trend spans all (age/ethnic) groups--is towards grooming rather than natural. Although completely shaved is not the majority, it is the significant minority. Clipped short styles, "landing strip" styles and even intricate designs are seen.
The choice is yours and should represent your preference, not someone else's.
Incidentally, tan lines are also rare these days. Among those who tan (women and men) more and more are doing so nude.
