Answers: will tis help gain arm muscle???

Do you mean Push ups? Or Pull ups? I served in the Army and I know from experience both are great exercises without having to purchase weights, It's just a matter of what your looking to concentrate on.

Push ups are intended for your Chest and triceps (back of your arm, much smaller muscle then your biceps). The closer you put your hands together will focus on your chest, and the further you spread your arms will work your triceps.

Pull ups are a great exercise to bulk up your biceps (top of your arm, more noticeable). Pull yourself up with your palms facing you (if the back of your hands are facing you you'll be working your triceps). Don't rush it, pull yourself up and let your self down with steady fluid motions. (the slower you go, the more it will burn). If you need help at first, there is no shame in that. Work out with a friend, bend your legs and have them guide your feet just enough to make it a little easier until you can do them on your own.

One major thing I'd like to mention is alternate muscle groups, give your muscles time to heal and rest. Chest and triceps one day (since they are the same motion), Biceps the next, etc etc. This will give your muscles time to recover and you'll advance quicker that way. Another neat trick is don't forget to work your legs, I know that doesn't seem like that's gonna help your upper body but...working your legs actually increases your testosterone level which is going to help you bulk up all around.

Hope this information helps, good luck and stay mentally tough. Rome wasn't built in a day!

It would probably have to be more like 100.

YES! And lots of it! Just don't forget to do it each day and you'll see a lot of improvement.

thats probably not the right type of exercise

nooooooooooo

it's gonna take more work than that

lift weights

A day...if you do it regularly, give it a few weeks or so. I suggest going for it three or so times a day. It really only takes like 5-10 minutes per set so it shouldn't be too much.

Depends on how heavy you are. Your muscles will have to work harder to lift a heavier mass therefore they will adapt more quickly. Do not overstrain yourself though. Remember to stretch before and afterwards.

I hope so, I'm doing the same thing

What's a press up? I've heard of pull ups and push ups, but press ups?

yeah i agree with the above

you should also try doing other excersices.
look em up.

just doing what your thinking of doing wont gain them as fast as you want it.

also try a healthy diet and such.

you cant eat alot and expect to gain muscles.
you have to be sensible.

no you wont gain anything you have to give your arms one day of rest in between workouts so the muscles can repair themselves. So if you do them everyother day it will be more productive,

will help if yu do curls as well but press ups are good

Yes. Some other good ways are wieghts, if you jog or walk you can strap them to your arms, and you can also pull ups.

yes more tone than anything else. if you wana build bigger arms you will need to tear the muscle through liffting bigger weights eg. bell bars..do repetitions of 15 of something you can just manage then rest. or work on another muscle then 15 again then rest/work on another then 15 again.. repetitions of 3 dat program is an youll get bigger

Push-ups? Probably not quickly, but yes, you will gain muscle. Try some routines that concentrate on the particular muscles you want to work and stick to your regimen. Also, be sure that you limit your working of a particular muscle group to 3 to 5 days. You don't want to damage those guns you're working so hard to get.

You might want to gradually do more than that. But don't overdo yourself.

yep the more the better. i cheer u on man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
