Question about catching HIV?!
Question: I know this gay guy who has HIV. Hes my parents friend, and hes like 28. I have tomorrow off, my Mom asked me to help clean his place - wash dishes and vacume and stuff.
I know its safe. I cant catch HIV by being there but how can I get it? What if he wants me to do his laundry. is that ok? Or .. if we eat together? And can I hug him? What if I want to kiss him. Hes nice and Ive known him since I was a baby.

You can do anything with him.
The only way you can get HIV is if you have blood to blood contact. Like if he is bleeding and you help clean his cut and you have an open cut yourself and the blood gets in there, then yes, you will catch it.
If you are gay and 'do it' with him, then you can catch.
But just being around, you won't catch it. If you could, then he would be put in containment in a place.
HIV people can be just like us but can catch diseases quicker and it's more serious
