The people on here that say it is bad are misguided and misinformed.
It is a very beneficial plant. It stops the growth of certain types of cancer dead in their tracks, delays the onset of Altzheimers, Huntingdon's disease and lung cancer. It is very good for CNS pain relief such as MS, is very good for glaucoma, relieves period pain and PMS as well as improving your love life.
It is not addictive and every scientific study done on it says that the moderate consumption of cannabis is not harmful at all.
As for the "study" that says that it creates psychosis in 40% of mental patients? The study says that they don't know if it does create 40% more illness or that 40% of all those with mental illness smoke the stuff anyway. If this is true, then why is the incidence of Schizophrenia going down all over the world?
Those that tell you it is bad should stop reading the Daily Mail, they are self righteous moral panickers and scare mongers. Don't smoke it all the time tho, have a couple of days a week off the stuff.

In time it will cause dementia.

It has been connected to mental issues but it hasn't done me any harm over the years!

Smoking in general is harmful to your health. The monoxide and chemicals from smoke kills brain cells, cause lung cancer and overall bad health...! You decide...your intelligent! Hope this helps...:O)

well in a word it kills the brain cells can make you into a paranoid schizophrenic ,but they say it can help MS sufferer's,
but watever people on here tell you you are using it .

Like tobacco and booze, some people can take a lot with no harmful effects and some people get permanently damaged with a moderate habit. Any quantity of cannabis can be harmful. You've got to decide whether it's worth gambling with your long term health for the pleasure it gives you now.

Prolonged use can turn You into a mental.

I can only give you my experience.

35 years ago I was playing in a band and living the lifestyle. We had two 'roadies' who used to supply us with 'hash' all the time and I spent about 2 years smoking everyday. Not all day...but in the evenings and sometimes during the day.

Then one night I was in the pub with my mates and I was suddenly overwhelmed with a feeling that I wasn't in control. I got increasingly anxious and began to think that if I moved or said something, people would notice and know everything about me. I was terrified.

After about ten minutes a mate asked me if I was alright. All I could say to him was "can you get me out of here?"

He seemed to understand what I was feeling and took me by the arm and lead me outside. We spent about 30 minutes walking round outside until I felt better. That was the last time i smoked for many years, until about 5 years ago, I took one 'toke' at a poker night. The next morning I woke up and lay there wondering if I had said anything embarrassing the night before. It took a while to realise that of course I hadn't...I was just being paranoid. Even after all those years...dope is something that would make me mentally ill...no doubt about it!

all drugs r bad 4 u bell end

Leave well alone mate, - not worth it!

And for the record, - the link between mental health issues (nominally Depression) in 30+ males is proven scientific fact, - so anyone who answers to the contrary is wrong!
