Over 18 only please...?!

Question: Ok- this is a serious question, although it may sound immature. Does anyone know whether anal sex is safe? I have heard people say some negative things about anal sex, but would like to know if anyone is aware of the dangerous repercussions associated with it. Only serious answers please :)

There are a lot of nerve endings in and around the anus and many people find the stimulation of this area pleasurable. It can also be very painful - the anus is not as elastic as the vagina, and the anal sphincter responds to initial penetration by contracting. It is important to go slowly and wait until you are relaxed. You should also use lubrication such as saliva, vaginal secretions or a water based lube (water based will not deteriorate a latex condom). If your partner tries to penetrate you before you are ready, you risk tearing the anal tissue and bleeding which makes disease transmission more likely.

If you and your partner are going to engage in anal sex you should be aware that anal bacteria can cause serious vaginal infections and cystitis. It is imperative that your partner wears a condom and replaces the condom and/or washes his fingers thoroughly before he enters your vagina after anal intercourse. Also, if you use your tongue, cover the area with a dental dam or some kitchen plastic wrap or you run the risk of a stomach infection or a sexually transmitted disease (STD).

Anal sex is considered a high-risk behavior for HIV and other STD transmission.

The delicate tissue in the rectum is prone to small tears that make entryway for the AIDS virus. Latex barriers (condoms, gloves) and lots of water-based lube, to ensure the condom does not break, are essential.

Follow your own instincts about having anal intercourse. As you can see, it is not risk free and whoever is on the receiving end has the risk of damage to their anus. If you want to try it - go ahead (but take all the above precautions). If you are uncomfortable or scared of the idea of anal sex - then do not do it. Your boyfriend may be disappointed, but if he cares about you, then he will respect your wishes.

id say its unsafe. girls poop out of it.
shits weak. goodluck

Well anal sex is very common and there are some benefits and some negatives to it. The links I have included cover this situation very well and I suggest reading up on this from these sources because they are very detailed.

you are more susceptible to transmitting stds b.c it is common during anal sex to tear the anus, which is an open wound.

other than that i'm not too sure.. unless your pride is damaged, as mine would be..

and actually, there is still a slight possibility of getting pregnant if even the tiniest bit of semen gets in her vagina. its a small chance, but nonetheless, a possibility.

For women Anal sex can cause serious infections, particularly if you switch back to normal intercourse at any time. It can also cause urinary track infections.

my girlfriend says it hurt a lot the first couple of times. read this website.

yes it is safe...because there is more bleeding you would be at more risk for an std if you use no condom...always use condom

If done carefully then it is safe. Use a condom and Lubricant, and make sure not to cross back to other orfaces without washing. It can cause yeast infections. Dont be to rough because you can rupture a main artery in the colon. If you are careful it is fun and safe for both parties. Good Luck

As long as you use a condom you should be safe,, both male and female or which ever one gets it can have can orgasam as well from anal sex, now on a female do not pull out and return to the front side as this could transmit bateria to the female...

maybe, maybe not.

the video i'm about to show you is not only for homosexuals, but for everyone.

Safe is a relative question. Anal sex can be a very pleasurable experience, but it's a MUCH riskier practice than vaginal sex.

Possible problems:

1. Insufficient lubricant can cause tearing of the rectum... especially if there is vigorous thrusting.

2. The anus isn't really designed for this type of activity as it has organisms and bacteria that really aren't all that healthy. They can infect you through your urethra and through any open cuts that you might have on your junk.

If you are planning on trying this... a couple of suggestions:

1. Use LOTS of lubricant. KY Jelly works really well. There are others, but make sure they are not petroleum based.

2. ALWAYS use a condom. Seriously. Even if it's your wife or husband.

no way should any body be sticking anything up you butt, girl or guy,,,,

you have to be very careful with anal sex...
*There is a nerve that goes from inside your anus to the area around your heart...if this is hit during sex it can make you feel like you are having a heart attack..
* You can still get STD's from anal
* Use lots of lube because you dont want to get a tare...it will get infected
* you may have trouble pooping after
* you dont want to get soo loose that you cant hold your poop in

Okay, it may seem like i am joking, but i am not, the way i see it, anal sex is just as safe as any other kind of sex. The safety factor is the responsibility of the people having sex.

anal sex is safe you can *** in her and it won't make her pregnant. just use lots of lube so not to hurt her to much.
