My son is almost 18 and doesn't have facial hair yet...is this normal???!
Question: I had the same problem. Sort of! I didn't really shave even into my 20's. My mom saw that I was embarassed after talking about with it to her (trust me, it's not something a guy wants to talk about with his mother!). She made an appt. with an Endocrinologist and he did some tests . He found that my Testosterone levels were very low, which explained why I was not maturing like guys my age!
You have to realize that too: was his biological father "hairy", etc. or was he a "late-bloomer", too??? Hope this helps!

It happens to some guys but i would wait another year or so before i would take him to a doctor and talk about it.
my guess is that he is fine. i have friends who are like 20 and don't even shave so....
if he is really short, he may not have enough growth hormone. this happened to someone i know and he had to take shots and now he's growing.
if he is normal height, i wouldn't worry.
:D
Yes, normal enough. Let it go and whatever you do, don't let him see your concern. I'm sure he's stressing enough for the both of you. Give it time.
I shaved my face once a week when I was 18. thats fine. some people get more facial hair. it took awhile for me
he should consider himself lucky not having to shave everyday .I wish I didn't have facial hair he is still going through puberty and may develop facial hair later or he could be one that just isn't hairy nothing abnormal about it.
