Im scared! My teacher...?!

Question: Report cards were recently given to us, and my "female dog" English teacher wrote"student is not performing up to potential." She is the f******* worst teacher I have ever had. The lowest I had on any of my tests was an 88. I finished with an 87 this semester. All that b**** does is go to her desk and play a tape. Im scared bc I know my parents will email my teacher and I know my teacher will tell them about what a smart@$$ I am. How should I convince my parents she is full of $h1T?

just keep complaining everyday! BRAIN WASH THEM EVERYDAY!! tell them how harsh she was! 88 isnt so bad in my point of view

Tell them how you feel. My mom agrees with me. You can always do a meeting with the teacher and your parents.

ya if she that rude

dont be such a smart *** to your techer , duh
bring her an apple sound stupid but it helps

hope you saved the exams... if not she is right you are not performing to your full potential you idiot

Remember, those report card comments are generated by a computer, none of my teachers have ever hand written comments.

In her defence, she obviously thinks you are very smart! Just go talk to her about it.

how bout you just tell them exactly what you wrote...and try to understand why this teacher is being so mean to you. just have a discussion with her and your paretns and hopefully that would work out. what does she teach.
nice try at the censoring

your funny lmao.. i hate my teachers too

I HATE IT WHEN TEACHERS DO THAT O_O if you missed any homework ? o-o; missed a couple points on classwork? i dunno o-o; but my math grade is gone TT_TT I WANT IT BACK O_O

hehe...i have had my share of bad teachers so i know what you mean...
i would say not to stop or change anything and right now this might seem like not helping but trust me on this....you will not care about this a month from now or even a week from now...just tell your parents before hand instead of hiding it...it will make it alot easier for you in the long run...also tell them how much of a 'female dog' she is to you specifically and try to play yourself as the victim...

finally...try to stop being a smart *** in class and this will probably not happen again..good luck dude

Hopefully if your other results were good, you will be able to show your parents that for some reason this teacher has written this comment and does not reflect at all the truth. Show them your tests. Your marks are good so that should be something you can show to your parents as an example that your really are doing your best. With an 87, I don't see that your should have any problems..

if your parents are not satisfied with your 88 and are destracted by that little comment then they are truely retarded.
Any parent should be proud of their child for optaining this high mark. Tell them what you told us, but in a nicer way. If your parents don't understand then who cares.. whats the worst that can happen?

show them your test scores and explain that your teacher just isn't a very nice person and that you don't know what she has against you, but you're trying your best. Sound sad and upset and you parents will feel bad for you and take your side.

Your grades seem good, although they could be better. But, unfortunately, you need the good grades. Let your parents kow what's up, honestly, and admit what you have done wrong before they hear about it secondhand. Then, your folks can help you sweet talk the teacher into extra credit or what ever it akes to keep a good grade.

Oh an 87!!!!! I would be shaking in my boots if I were you.

a. don't swear or call names it makes it seem like your falt
b. tell them a "typical day in her class"
c. compare yourself with ou6ther students in the class
d. give the example of a student wo is better than you but still dislikes and ectera
e. use your high grades in other classes to prove agenst that one teacher

If you're getting a B+ and "not performing up to potential" that simply means that your teacher thinks you could do better than that...
... I'm not sure what planet you're coming from, dear, but that's a compliment.

If you're scared your teacher is going to say your a smart butt, maybe it's because you know you were one this semester? If your parents are going to be annoyed with a B+ that's not as good as you could be doing, they aren't going to be thrilled with you "passing the buck" as it were by blaming your teacher for your lack of respect and/or lack of harder work to get the grade you could have had. Be honest, Yeah, I was a smart butt, I guess I don't like my teacher that much, but that doesn't mean she isn't right, I could have an A if I did my job.

I think your parents would probably respect that a whole lot more. Just my two cents, but you did ask for it.

who cares if your teacher tells your parents that you're a smarta** ..you finished with an 87, how can they be mad at that...

Your parents had teachers like that also. Tell them how she is not instructing you properly or making the class interesting, if that is the truth. You should take her statement as a compliment though, because she said you are not working to your potential. She must think that you can achieve more than you have. It is a favorable comment in an attempt to motivate you. Try going into class with a good attitude toward learning and try harder, if you still think she is not educating you properly, then go see the principal or the guidance counselor.

if you've been a fairly honest and straight forward kid to them most of or all of your life then they SHOULD trust their OWN kid vs. some strange lady they don't really even know, and they can't be THAT clueless to the point that crappy teacher DO exist out there............. unless you have crazy parents like me who never believe a word you say even if proof has been provided numerous times by well established people- - then im sorry, all i can tell yuo is good luck, you wont be a kid forever and if yuor brave enough you can talk to your guidance councillor or principal or both. or even the b****y teacher herself.

as for convincing them, say what you can, if they are making it clear to yuo that they don't beleive you, act mopey for a while, when they ask whats wrong, say, "it bothers me that you aren't beleiving me and i that dont know how to prove it to you and that frustrates me."

i hate my teacher also maybe thats why even im doing good on tests but dont do nothing in classroom besides sitting there and listening ot what the hell are the talking about

From what I gather from your statement I believe that your teacher has seen your past work and it was much better than what you gave her this time. Also, if you have been a smart Alec in class, this could be why the 88, either because of this or that you weren't doing all you could have been doing instead of foolery. Not totally defending your teacher regardless of what she was doing listening to tapes, most teachers take papers home to grade and are up quite late doing this. My suggestion to you if e-mails are exchanged is to be honest with your teacher and your parents, settle down and do the work expected of you as your teacher knows that you have the potential to excel. I believe that you are a smart boy and being honest and working to your potential is part of being mature.
