been sober 11 years. Dont want to do anything that will endanger my sobriety
Answers:
Some medication used to treat ADD can be addictive to the patient or the patient can build a tolerance. Make sure that your provider treating your ADD is aware that you have an addictive personality and history of addiction so when prescribing medication they will be better selective to to medication that would be right for you.
