Coma/Memory Question.?!

Question:

Coma/Memory Question.?

If someone is in a coma, and they awake later. Is it possible for them to remember what happened during the coma? Like things that they heard and stuff like that? Also, if any of you have been in a coma, what was it like? Was it like one second you're there (whatever happened to get you into the coma) and then the next you're at the hospital? Like a dream type thing? You feel like you awakned just awakened from sleeping and you dont tihnk anything different? Like when you go to bed, you fall asleep and the next second you're awake? If you guys could answer i would be EXTREMELY Appreciative.

Answers:

yes you can remember things you heard but it doesnt mean you will..for me it was very similar to sleeping althou i do remember hearing my parents talking to the docter and him telling them that i wasn't going to make it...as for not being any different when you wake up that really depends on what put you there in the first place..there could be pernament brain damage when you wake up or you could be normal...some people experience dreams and such for me it was like i was awake (in a way) but surrounded in darkness its kinda hard to explain
