he wants 2 die (he's an emo) he always talks about how his life is horrible. I'm worried that he might kill himself what do i do???????????????

i can't tell his parents cuz i promised that i wouldn't but that might be what i have 2 do (if i do then he will hate me!!!!!

I dont think he'll kill himself - he might consider it, but there is prpbably a lot keeping him here, like you for example - ell him how worried you are and BEG him not to do anything stupid - show him how much yo care and he'll have something worth living for. Just help him through. And if hes self-harming but not to actually kill himself, remind him that things can go wrong - he could cut an artery, or get sceptisemia...don't tell his parents it will make things worse, it sounds like you are one of the few things he values so don't betray his trust. His emotions are private and he has shared them with you, which is great of curse cuz you can help, but dont betray is confidence!
