Why cant people see that?
I take things people say to heart. I cant help it. Then i get mad when they see my anger as a joke. I want ot hurt thier feelings as much as they've hurt mine but no matter what i say they still see it as a joke. It makes me so mad.

Melissa, you cannot take all things to heart because people will pounce on what they see as a weakness. Sadly, there are people in this world that exist only to hurt and destroy. This is how they find happiness is by hurting others. The thing is you can never hurt them with hateful words, because hate is all that they know and live in. The best way to deal with people like that is to ignore them completely. Pray for strength and continue on. Believe me, the older you get, the thicker your skin will become.
