Please help I am so blank on what to do.?

My boyfriend and I have been fighting a lot but when he told me how much it hurts him when I yell at him and stuff I totally stopped because I don't want to lose him. Lately he has been acting a little different and finally he told me the truth about why. He says everything annoys him lately and he has been working on his car lately and nothing is working and he gets soo upset when he tries to fix something and it doesn't work. He also says he feels a little depressed, he started crying and I told him I will always be there for him and I think it made him feel better. PLEASE does anyone have an idea of what's going on with him or any advice on how I can help him? (He has also been under major stress his boss has been at his work everyday now and usually yells at him and his dad is getting surgery soon)

Firstly i congradulate you on the way you listened to your boyfriend, it is hard to see someone you love so upset but i know your support will be abig part in his recovery. You say you have been arguing alot, perhaps he is showing anger towards you because he cant at work with his boss. It is most likely he doesnt want to hurt you at all, prob doesnt even want to argue or lose you. Could you find another outlet for this anger and frustration such as sports or a routine say one night a week you have as your night together with him to de-stress like a cinema night or even just a lovely home made meal together or something. Smiling always helps! Keep listening to him and just bare with him when hes anger, try not to get angry back. If it doesnt improve in time suggest going to the doctors or ringing a number to chat about his problems he might not to be able to tell close people such as yourself so he doesnt worry you.
