How can I stop the cycle of rage whenever something sets off my anger?!
Question:
How can I stop the cycle of rage whenever something sets off my anger?
I am a "naturally angry" person, probably inherited or learned from my angry, resentful, ungentle father. I've also been "diagnosed" (proper term?) with being a perfectionist, w/c I think makes me demand complete restitution for whatever offense I experienced from other people in the past. In this case, what can I do to gently guide myself out of the cycle of anger ... gently because if not, I end up using energy derived from anger to force myself to succeed quickly in any of my endeavors.
(Pls. pardon my English - I'm a foreign born American citizen who doesn't have the gift of language.) Thank you for any advice.
Answers:
Dont allow this vicious cycle of anger to continue. We are all a product of our environment but you know we can choose to not be shaped by it - be aware of yourself all the time and your reaction.
