What is a grand parent's love--from both grandparents and grandchildren?
Answers:
I am not a grandmother yet, so I will answer from a granddaughter's perspective. My Grandmother's love was unconditional and it knew no boundaries. She was my teacher, my best friend, and my greatest supporter in whatever I chose to do in my life. She was strong, determined and honest. She gave up everything she had for my siblings and me. She made me strong, hard working, dependable, honest and independent. She was there for me when I was happy and when I was sad. She was also there for me when I screwed up as a teenager and a young adult.
Without her, I wouldn't be who I am today. I lost her 22 years ago, and there isn't a day goes by still, that I don't miss her terribly. I can only hope that I will be a Grandmother to my sons' children, like she was to me.
