When my therapist says she is invested in me it sounds kinda funny.?
I know she cares about my outcome but I just havent really been told before that someone is invested in me. Im pretty sure I know what it means but what do you think it means? It sounds like a funny word to use.

i think therapists say things like that to let you know they care about you and your future... but words like this are more professional sounding, since yours is a professional relationship. it means she has been working with you on your goals and she has confidence that you will achieve them.
it does sound funny...like banker talk. or a business commercial.
