The whole pill is 100mg. If I cut the pill just before the I would that make it about 75

I think if you cut it in the middle of the 1 it would be closer to 75mg, but just before would be ok too. I'd also bring it up with your doctor afterwards since some drugs can make your body VERY dependent on them after a few months, let alone 10 years. Zoloft (sertraline) was easy to taper off for me, but it varies by person. Personally though, I don't think there would be a problem.

If a pill is 100mg and you cut it in half, each half will be 50mg.
Three quarters of the whole tablet will be 75mg.
It's basic percentages, buddy. They don't get any easier than that.
