Help im so depressed after having plastic surgery ?!

Question: Help im so depressed after having plastic surgery ?
Im 19 years old and I have awful depression, social anxiety, insomnia and very low self esteem. For two years I worked as a stripper and escort. I sold my body along with my self esteem and self worth. I have no friends and I've never had a boyfriend that didn't use me in one way or another. About four months ago I got plastic surgery I don't know why I was a pretty girl I guess I just thought if I make myself look better id feel better (I have work done on my nose and chin payed for by a client) I feel like I looked better before. Im sooo depressed I stay in the house at all times except for school and when I meet with clients. I don't sleep, I've gained weight and I constantly obsess over the work ived had done I just want a to meet a good guy who will make me feel good any suggestions?

Answers:

Sweetie, I can see where you’re coming from. I cannot blame you for your job, it your way of earning to live and to finance your school. Do not dwell on frustrations instead concentrate and focus yourself on your studies, it is your only way to get out of the career you have right now. I am sure what you’re doing right now is only temporary once you finish your school you can find a much better job that does not need to compromise your body along with your self esteem. Always remember that challenges are part of our growth and without them, our lives are just going to be fusty and heavy. Live life without regrets, regrets is the ones that causes depression and anxiety which is not healthy at all. And about you getting a plastic surgery, it does not matter, remember our characters and how we lived our life to the fullest is the most important.

Learn to accept yourself for who you are and feel confident about yourself. No one else can do that for you. Changing your looks won't change who you are. If selling yourself is the only way you can make a living, perhaps you need to change that. Finish expanding your education, and get into a different line of work. Being an escort isn't for everyone. If you continue mentally beating yourself up, talk with a therapist.
