Question: Does anyone have a fear of being broke?
i just think money is #1 in life and i cant understand why ppl put stupid **** 1st like getting drunk with their friends. im not smart at all, im just sayin i dont get why ppl think its ok to grow up and work at a walmart. (and dont say sum1 needs to do those jobs and yes understand that not everyone knows what they want to do after high school)

Not all kids at 17 think with a mature attitude,they are into themselves and instant gratification,they don't see the big picture and any further than the end of the day.So take your knowledge and go forward into a great life.
For a 17 year old I believe you are pretty much right on track ! You are right on about not wanting to live paycheck to paycheck. As far as some working at super markets, perhaps that is how they are making their way through college . We all have to begin our job careers somewhere. My goals at your age was to get through college and get my career going which I did. Just be positive and put more thought into planning your future and not think so much of what others are doing.
A lot of people like to live in the present as opposed to worrying about the future. You should try it
