i am having a hard time paying attention in school and i cant control my urge to talk! i looked up the symptoms for add and i have all of them!!! i bring it up to my mom and shes like it isnt possible i've known you my whole life but i recently learned it can be developed over time because of stress which i have a lott of my dad refuses to believe it because its a type of mental illness but i really want to be tested because i need to get my life under control! and i have found my grades are slipping too! i used to get straight a's now i get c-s' and b-s' i dont know what to do i am 13 and i dont know what to do HELP!!!!

You need to explain to your mother that you truly believe this is the problem, and ask her to make a doctor's appointment to confirm it. Tell her that if she is right, then at least you'll have solidified it with the evaluation. Better safe than sorry.
