Extreme anxiety. Please help.?!

Question: Extreme anxiety. Please help.?
Hey. I honestly don't know where to begin and I'm not 100% sure if I'm not the right type of site. I'm a 23 year old male and for around 3 or 4 years I have had anxiety be it minor or how it is right now, major. What I get it over has changed. To start with, I remember it being over family members dying and then it progressed. Last year, during the summer, I didn't seem to have any problems at all. In september I met my current girlfriend who I'm now living with. And this is where this current phase started. I remember seeing on the news that someone had been poisoned with Methanol and that they had gone blind. Ever since then, I have been worried about this happening to myself. I have only left the house 4 or so times in the past 2 months due to the substance being in a number of things car related and as you know, cars are everywhere. I don't know what I am expecting from posting this, maybe stats or facts but this is the first time I have ever expressed how I feel. Please help, Regards

Been there, about done being there. The mistake I made was staying in my house. The more you avoid the causes of your irrational very unlikely to happen to you fears , the bigger and more scary they appear to be when confronted by what ever it is that oppresses you. I suggest you start from the little things up, it's called exposure therapy. It works. Anxiety about death to me is a realization that you've noticed how much you enjoy living. But why would you allow the fear of death ruin life seeing as everyone has to go sometime? I'm not saying, this isn't something you're not fretting about, I've had some irrational thoughts I had been submitted by, such as being poisoned via soda cans. I wouldn't leave my soda in a room with people I trusted if it was unattended I would get so paranoid. But once I started leaving that drink there when I walked out and facing my anxiety attacks and fears when I took a drink and realized that after that I didn't die, the fear became smaller. It remained the second time, but got smaller. Face your fear. As cliche as that sounds, it's the best thing to do.

Panic Disorder, Anxiety, OCD.

I believe you should take it easy and look at the bright sides of life,
God has give you many wonderful things such as life,heath,money,...
just look at the people who lack these things like poor handicaps...
you should be grateful at least do your prayer and thank God and He will guide and give you peace in your heart.
We are suffering anxiety fear and other problems because we lack spirituality in our life so whenever we return to God ,He shall give us what we all are looking for : the Happiness
