My sister believes everyone is a basilisk. Could this be bipolar disorder?!

Question: My sister believes everyone is a basilisk. Could this be bipolar disorder?
My sister is constantly standing in front of the mirror, flapping her arms up and down. She does this for hours at a time, and only takes a few bathroom breaks. She hasn’t been eating, and she’s losing weight at a scary pace. I think she believes she is a bird. I’m not sure what kind of psychological disorder she has, but do you think she could be bipolar, experiencing a manic episode? This has been going on for 3 weeks now. When I ask her about it, she completely ignores me. I’m guessing this is because birds can’t talk. She thinks everyone is a basilisk because she won't look people in the eye, she looks into the mirror, and looks at their reflection and answers sometimes.

If this isn't a joke, which I'm assuming it is considering the obvious I would call child protective services on your parents for allowing this to continue for so long. It's bad for her health is she is losing a significant amount of weight. Depending on her age, I would say that she is doing this for attention and she needs to be put in her place. Pick her up, throw her on her bed, tie her down and slap her in the face because humans are not birds. If she still thinks she's a bird then she will probably kill herself by trying to fly out her second story window. Problem solved.
In a seriousness, I would check her in to a mental institution.

I'm a badass

You're either a troll or someone who REALLY doesn't know what bipolar disorder is.

If you're serious, take the mirror down.
