Is it normal to feel suicidal when...?!
Question: Is it normal to feel suicidal when...?
Answers:
I would say that feeling suicidal would be a logical outcome from that situation.
You know what though, there is always a way to rise above. I think that is why you are saying you can't find the courage to end it. Somewhere deep down in your soul you know that you can and will escape and be better than all of the abuse and all of the evil in your world.
Don't give up the fight!
There are resources out there for help, you can try the "conventional" thing of getting therapy and maybe medicines. I recommend you at least try therapy. I tried therapy and it went okay, I wouldn't say it was life-altering but it definitely gave me a lot of perspective on my situation.
I think it is important to have some kind of spiritual connection. Whether it is an organized religion or your own thing it doesn't matter. I used to pray saying, whatever or whoever is out there, whatever reason I am here and everything else is here, just help me because I really need it now.
Make GOOD friends. It can be very hard to find good friends. Surround yourself with positive people. Don't hang with people that are into bad things and full of negative energy, even though these people will probably be able to sympathize with you the most.
Overall, just make a change, even a small one. Try to make one everyday. Exercise is an extremely positive small change that helped me out tremendously.
Take it easy, you CAN and WILL overcome. You just have to stay strong, I know you've already been so strong already, just a while longer and you should see the clouds breaking and sunshine coming through.
Peace and God Bless!
I've been down in that hole and clawed my way back out of it
It sounds like you are in a pretty bad spot right now! I'm so sorry to hear it! Thinking about suicide is serious, and you should try and talk to someone about it right away. I know it feels like you are alone, but there are people out there that want to help you! Maybe you could talk to your doctor regarding your concerns and they can help you sort out these feelings. You could also talk to a school counselor, a therapist, pastor/priest, or even go to a hospital. Just talk to someone, so they can help you!
If you want to talk, you can also call the Boys Town National Hotline at 1-800-448-3000. You can also email or chat with a Counselor at the website www.YourLifeYourVoice.org. Take Care!

If drug abusers, then yes. People who commit suicide are usually on drugs. It's actually good that your not brave enough to kill yourself, it means that you have hope for yourself. But, please don't hurt yourself.
Hope you get better :)
