Question: I am 1 year behind in high school and I might be 2 years behind soon?
I SHOULD be finishing grade 11 but instead I am finishing grade 10. I am a 16 year old male and my psychiatrist still doesn't know whats wrong with me (its been 6 months).
How much longer do you think it will take? It was a 6 month wait in Canada. First I saw a social worker and then 2 months later a psychologist and now recently a psychiatrist. I have seen him about 3 times so far.

Your question was well-written. I don't know how long these things take. I realize that being kept back is a big hassle for you right now, and somewhat humiliating. However in the great scheme of things, 2 years is not a long time. Whether you hit the workforce at 19 or 20 doesn't matter 10 years later.
What is the problem plenty of 16 year olds are in 10th grade. I don't see what you mean, do you have a learning disability?
