You would want to see someone who is licensed in psychology; a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Ask your regular doctor for a recommendation.
Adult ADD isn't something you can be 'checked for' though. It's not like performing a scan or a blood test. Actually, in my experience, psychologists prefer not to diagnose if they can avoid it. They can certainly help you manage whatever symptoms you have though.
