Help on generalized anxiety disorder?!


Question: Help on generalized anxiety disorder!?
I am very desperate!. I have gone 3 years now with this disorder and i desperately need some help!. I

have tried everything in the book to alleviate my stress level but it seems nothing works!. There are programs out there that cost well over $500 that treat anxiety/depression without medicine!. There are Medicines out there that treat the surface symptoms, but can cause long term negative effects and in some cases even death!.

SO, in conclusion, if i don't take medicine (for instance Xanax is what one doc prescribed, and i refused it because it is narcotic) I'm screwed, If i take medicine, I'm screwed!.

Anyone else out there with the same problem maybe can help me out!?

Do you just have generalized anxiety, or do you have a full blown panic disorder!?

I used to have a full blown panic disorder!. Throughout the day I'd remain in a state of generalized high anxiety, which would eventually culminate as a panic attack!.

In the end it was diet, exercise, and meditation that cured me of my panic disorder!. Everywhere you go you hear diet and exercise help with anxiety, but you would be surprised how quickly you can learn to cut off anxiety at it's source through meditation!.

As for medication, I would recommend something like zoloft if anything!. I tried the minimum dose of zoloft for a few months and I did notice a decrease in my anxiety levels!.

In the end after I started feeling better I went off of zoloft!. While it decreased my anxiety, it also decreased my enjoyment in activities I normally enjoyed!. In the end that was the deciding factor as to why I went off of it!.

If you take something like zoloft, I recommend keeping the dose low and using it as a reset-button!. When you get used to feeling normal, go off it again!. In conjunction with meditation I was able to go off of zoloft and my anxiety has yet to return!.

Xanax should not be used as a regular medication, it should be used as an emergency!. Using Xanax is like getting drunk to avoid your problems!. They'll go away temporarily, but as soon as the Xanax wears off they're going to come rushing back worse than ever!.

If you use Xanax constantly throughout the day you'll develop a tolerance for it and be forced to up your dosage!.

Xanax is comparable to alcohol in addictiveness as well!.!.!. Not good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Elements of Stress are within you!. Design the world that you want to live in!. Write on paper!. Figure out how you can receive the help to do the same!.

Do something with body, other than thinking for extended period of time!. You will feel better!. Take up a physical activity that boost you mentally!. If you engage yourself in some new activity forcefully as if you have achieved a milestone in it, you will be much better qualitatively and quantitatively!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you going to therapy and counseling along with taking your medicine!? Sometimes it takes awhile for your medicine to start working!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would just take da medicine!.

i havent been diagnosed with anything but
im pretty sure i hav sumthing alone da lines of GAD
and it feels horrible
