I feel worse today...?!


Question: I feel worse today!.!.!.!?
So I actually talked to my therapist a little!.!.!. not about what actually happened, just like I'm scared and stuff, and that I was hurt, and how I never feel safe anymore!. But I don't feel better!. I feel a little worse now!. Is that normal!? whats the point in going if it makes me feel worse!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes talking about things can bring emotions to the surface and make you feel worse for a while!. Next time you see your therapist, maybe tell him/her how you felt about opening up, and they can reassure you!.

Getting better is never just a straight path forward - you'll have bad days when you ask yourself if it's really worth it!. These days should get fewer and fewer, and less "bad" - that's how you'll know you're on the right track!.

Therapists are not an easy fix, the point is to look long and hard at yourself, your experiences, and how they have affected you, you cant just gloss over anything, it must all be faced, and once that is done you can start to learn how to live again, so yeah you will feel worse at first, but then things will become clearer for you just dont get into the habit of being comfortable with unhappiness, its an easy thing to do, as no-one ever wants to take that away from you, be brave, I know its not easy, but it will be worth it in the end!.

You need to tell the therapist the truth, without the truth how is someone gonna help you!. You need help and it may make you feel bad at the time but you need to get this off your mind so you can carry on and get on with your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If its only your first session, then you still have a lot more to get off your chest!. Carry on going and talking about whatever needs to be said, and it will finally make sense, and make you feel better!. Promise!. It wont make you feel worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well some times going to see your therapist is a good thing and you feel great after words but not ever time you are going to feel great!. So this time you don't but next time it might be different!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe because you are facing some of your issues that you have been trying to hide from!. Give it time!. You didn't get like that over night you won't get out over night!. Hold in there!.
