Does anyone take Cymbalta? Side effects? Has it helped you?!

I was precribed Cymbalta and had horrible side effects from it!. Instead of helping with the depression and anxiety, it heightened the anxiety and my depression got worse!. It does work for some people -- all medications which interact with the central nervous system will work differently for different people!. I also had worse migraine headaches as a result and stomach problems!. If you're having side effects, call the pharmacist where you received your prescription and ask about them!. If you're taking samples, call the doctor who gave them to you and ask!. Don't continue taking something that you feel is harmful to you -- ask for help!. When it comes to medicine of any kind -- you have to be your own best advocate!. Write down all the side effects you're experiencing and have the list ready when you make the call!. Then you're forearmed for all questions that may be asked!. I wish you the best of luck for this one truly had me so down I wasn't even seeing my grand-babes -- and nothing keeps me from that!. My buddy was taking it, he just stopped taking it and his anxiety is gone hopefully forever!.

Side effects include:


* nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes);
* restlessness, overactive reflexes, hallucinations, loss of coordination, fainting, coma; or
* nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and fast heartbeat!.

Less serious side effects may include:

* constipation;
* drowsiness, dizziness, headache;
* sleep problems (insomnia);
* weight changes;
* feeling anxious or nervous, increased sweating;
* sore throat; or
* decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm!.
