Answers:
Yes, I know how you feel I become consumed with going crazy and I focus on my brain too much!. People and things that are well know to me almost seem foreign and offer no comfort to me!. I over analyze everything I do and wonder if I am acting weird or crazy!. You are not alone, and I think when you are truly crazy you don't even realize it!. I started Prozac a little under 2 months ago but I was on a really low dose and still am not up to 20 mg!. I also take Klonipin and that helps!. I feel like the Prozac is working it's just taking a long time!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Prozac is primarily for depression but can help anxiety!. Buspar is meant to build up in your system over a 4-6 week period and it can definitely cause anxiety to be worse while your system is adjusting to it!. A Xanax type drug could be helpful while you are ramping up on the Buspar but it is addictive whether you have an addictive personality or not!. If you take it for a month as a quick fix until the Buspar is fully in your system you should be fine and have no side effects coming off!. Be warned, taking Buspar and Xanax together can actually make the anxiety worse too depending on your system!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.

I used to!. With my current meds and therapy I have not had this happen in quite awhile!. But I do know exactly what you mean!. I would actually tell those around me to tell me that every thing was OK etc!. Discuss this with you doctor(s)!. You may very well need to have you meds adjusted or changed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey,

I was on Buspar and it made anxiety worse for me!. There are other anxiety meds to try like propanolol or xanax if you don't have an addictive personality!.

Lexapro works really well for me, but meds effect everyone differently!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your attacks are that bad you need to have your meds adjusted!. Do you also see a psychiatrist!? It would probably help!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
