Pill addictions........?!

my friend is addicted to taking pills such as aderol and percocets and zantec and he has gotten to a point where he couldnt even walk and im really worried about him how can i get him to stop!?please help he needs to read this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmm, it is hard to see a friend in that condition but he has to want to help himself!. it he is a danger to himself or others than that is a different story!. i don't know what area you live in but where i live you can "marchman act" someone!. that is what was done to me!. i am over three years sober now and am very grateful in regards to all the help that can be found out there!. if you can't help your friend in any way then the best thing you can do is make sure your are not enabling him (ie, helping him get drugs, helping him cover up his bad behavior with others, lieing for him)!. there might be some useful info on the a&e webiste (keyword intervention)!. also, there are many other websites that could be useful!. just google "narcotics anonymous!." also, if he does decide to kick, please make sure you encourage him to go to a local hospital where they can do a proper medical detox!. First, does this person want to get off the pills!? If so then I would contact a professional to help because if this person just stops taking the pills than he will go through withdraw and it can be dangerous!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
