I'm inclined to agree with Carol on what she says about changing pessimistic thoughts!.

I've been going through this for a very long time myself and only even realized I was so negative in my thinking, within the last few years!.

The most important thing is to be observant of your own thoughts and actions!. There is ALWAYS a "trigger" to these thoughts and believe it or not, there may be things "forces" in play that directly oppose your efforts!.

It's just the way the Universe is set up!. Quantum physics might explain it, if you're a person who is scientifically inclined!. If not, just look at it like this;

There are positive and negative charges in everything that exists!. Your goal is to regulate those charges within yourself!.

Let's say you bang your toe when you get out of bed!. This could possibly ruin your whole day if you let it!.

If it happens, fight it it!. Use the negative energy to fight the negativity (determination) and immediately click on (in your mind) to something positive, like a scene in a movie where that same thing has happened to a character who is in a comedy situation!. Amuse yourself with the things that get you ticked and move ahead/forward in your mind, dont go back to the past things that have put you in this state of mind to begin with!.

Focus on the good stuff in your life, because the other stuff is generally small B!.S!. that will pass!.

There is a correct flow of energy in the body as well!.

If you get "pissed" observe your body internal workings and see if you don't feel something "flowing" creeping up the left side of your body into your head!. This is the chi, your energy flow and when it goes from left to right it is opposing the correct flow!.

Remember we are composed of anywhere from 55 - 78% water!.
So use that knowledge to keep things flowing correctly inside!.

Is there any one thing you can think to keep positive intentions from being influenced by negative "triggers"!?

Actually there is!.
"It's a joke and a lie, the whole wide world is only in your mind!."
You are in control of it all!.

There is a simple joke that I heard years ago, that crystallized it for me!.!.!.

Two neutrons walked into a bar, when one said to the other,

"I'm just not feeling like myself today"

The second one said, "are you sure!?"

The first one said, "I'm POSITIVE!"

I said it was a simple joke, not necessarily a good one!.

Hope you laughed and hope all, or any of this, helps you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pessimism is a habit and can be changed if you are willing to put in the effort!. The best method is to learn how to dispute those thoughts as they arise!. This has several steps:

First, you learn to identify which thoughts are pessimistic thoughts!.

Then examine it to see how reasonable that thought is!.

Biased or exaggerated thoughts are corrected with more realistic ones!. Think more realistically about the worst case scenario!. Always have a "Plan B" ready!.

Consider the cost of failure when deciding how optimistic to be about a given situation!. If it is high, you should be cautious!. Or if the cost of failure is low, it is healthier to adopt an optimistic attitude!.

Being optimistic makes the most sense when:
You are in an achievement situation
You feel sad or depressed or need to improve how you feel
You are faced with a long-term situation that affects your health

Being cautious makes more sense when:
Your goal requires planning for a risky and uncertain future!.
You are trying to encourage other people whose future looks grim!.

Most things that happen are just a momentary event!. Just tell yourself that things are just temporary!. Try to laugh it off!. Do you remember the things that were bothering you a year ago, two years ago!? Probably not!. So don't let the little things ruin your moment right now!. Make the best of what you have, where you're at, while you have it!. Have fun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
