How can I control my anxiety/ paranoia?!
Question: How can I control my anxiety/ paranoia!?
I have always been a high-strung person, but lately I have become increasingly anxious to the point that I am having major problems!. I don't really feel depressed, just very, very anxious!.
I can't seem to concentrate on anything!. I don't enjoy myself the way I used to!. I have this feeling that no one likes me and everyone is talking about me behind my back!. I basically ruined my last relationship b/c I was convinced my last BF was cheating on me or at least losing interest!. If friends don't call or text me evey day, I start to think they don't like me any more!. I get extremely jealous and possessive in friendships and realtionships!.
I know most of these thoughts are unreasonable, but I don't know how to control this!. What is wrong with me and what should I do!? Does anyone else ever feel like this!? Should I go see a doctor!? A counselor!? Are there any techniques I can do at home to make myself feel better!?

you remind me of myself!. im not as bad as i use to be (im 32) but i still have issues!. go to the dr and talk to him!. it sounds like you need some type of med, maybe only an anti- anxitey(sp) like prozac or zoloft!. dont ignore it!. there's no sense in being in agonoy everyday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds like you need to see a psychiatrist and get prescribed some meds!. I used to be very very anxious and now I am on meds and they help some!. I still feel anxious, but at least the meds help me concentrate better and relax me more!. I take paroxetine, clonazepam, and Risperdal and I think my paranoia is better now!. I don't feel quite as paranoid on the meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes to both questions, you need to see a doctor and a therapist!. the doctor can prescribe medication that will help you overcome many of these problems!. the counsellor will also give you a place to vent-and someone to talk things over with!. its great to have them both!. and you have to be a bit patient, sometimes it takes a while for the doctors to find the meds that will work!. so just wait, and pretty soon they will have you feeling way better!. hope it goes well for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I started out taking prozac 20mg daily!.!. then it dropped to 10mg and now I am just taking 5mg and still doing very well!. I might be considering taking medication off my life!.
