Question: Why can't my boyfriend cry!? At times he almost appears emotionless
he's been through a lot as a child, but he no longer lives in that environment!. I want him to start healing emotionally but he has resistance to crying!. Is there anyway I can be of some help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

just be there for him!.!.!.!. he has probably been conditioned to "be a man" and has probably beed told his whole life that men don't show emotion!.!.!. typical! I would discuss his hesitancy to show any emotion, and just let him know that you would like to know how he is feeling, and jsut say something like "tell me when your angry, or frusturated, orpissed or whatever" give him some words without him thinking you are treating him like a child!. you could even come up with a sign that you just are having a moment and need to be left alone, or if one of you is just in a mood, to be able to comunicate without saying anything!. something like hanging a tie or hat on your bedroom doorknob,, that's a pretty universal sign for "do not enter"=-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
