Question: To all the single folks!.!.!.do you ever have this thought!?
Sometimes i look at coupled ppl and think they have a built-in caretaker, advocate, advisor, and friend!. i look at other women holding hands with a guy and think 'wow, she's got it so easy!. If she has a problem at work, she can tell her man!. If she gets sick, her man is there!. It is like she is a baby but all grown up!.!.!.!.a freakin full grown ADULT is right there with her, at all times, in time of need!. " (of course, she has to do the same for her man, but i still think she's got it made)!.!.!.!.!.but sometimes (i'm ashamed of this) i think, oh i'm truly an adult because i'm really 'independent', ie if something were to happen to my health there would be no one to pick up the pieces!. Do you ever have this thought, or is it crazy!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, it is nice if everyone could find someone who can truly be their"support" in all things, but lol, you have to look at the other side of it too!. Would you really want to be available 24/7 to someone and basically be a slave to all of their needs and have them whine at you all of the time, and maybe "back stab" you to their friends, and cheat on you every time they think they can get away with it,lol!. Humans are human^_^!. I imagine even the "best" of marriages has something hidden behind closed doors!.( And, yet, a part of me still believes in romance!.!.!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
I understand a bit what you mean,people in relationship usually look up to each other if there's any problems!.But some are more or less dependent on the other,so it would depend and please do not generalize!.

i think it may be a little too bold to say that you are an "adult" BECAUSE you're independent!.!.but there is absolutely nothing wrong with being single!. You don't NEED someone!.!.sure it's nice!.!.but it is possible to get by alone!.

we all need someone in our lives to fill the emptiness and fear you are talking about but you will kow what to do and where to go for help if anything happens to you!.
as a single person i am not willing to put up with someone all the time just to get reassurance and a nurse if i get ill one day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
