Question: Sleep question need help asap!!?
Ok so For about the past week I haven't been able to sleep until about 7 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to get up to go to Cedar Point at 5:30 AM on Saturday! How doI get a good night's sleep!. I don't wanna stay awake until 5:30!. I lay there and try hard to sleep but the excitement has been keeping me up and I CANNOT go to sleep!. What do I do so I'm not tired!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can get some physical exercise during the day it will help!. For example, ride a bike for half an hour or walk for an hour or go for a long swim, but don't do anything too strenuous after about 7 pm, or eat any food later than about then either!. Have a warm bath or shower and get your night clothes on so you're comfy!. Have a warm drink, but not alcohol and read a book for an hour!. Lie in a dark room in a comfortable bed and relax!.
What I try and do then is not think about anything at all except imagining I'm lying on a beach where I can hear the sea and feel the heat on my body!. Gradually relax each part of your body, starting with your toes and working your way up and take some deep breaths!. Keep trying to think of nothing except lying on the beach!.
The other thing I think about is winning the lottery and what I would do with all the money!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to get yourself into a relaxed state - which can be difficult if you're excited!. Warm baths can help to wind you down!. Don't try to go to sleep because it just won't work!. You're keeping yourself awake by doing that!. Stay away from nicotine, alcohol, caffeine (including coffee and soda drinks) and drugs!.

You might be able to sleep better by forcing yourself back into a regular sleep pattern by depriving yourself of sleep for a couple of nights!. That doesn't mean you don't have any, you just get up at the right time even if you're still tired!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to do something relaxing couple of hours before you go to bed, like reading or watching the tv!. Then have a nice hot bath and a glass of warm milk with honey an hour before bed!. When you're in bed, try not to think about the day ahead and sleep!. If that doesn't work, read until your eyes get tired!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you are ready for sleep!.!.!.take slow deep breaths, 4 to 5 only a minute!. With each !.!.!. breathe in slowly, calmy and fully!. Then exhale slowly, calmly and fully!. With each inhale your breath should fill your lungs and stomach fully!. With each exhale your lungs and stomach should empty!. Concentrate as you breathe on just the filling and emptying of your stomach of air!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

RUN REALLY REALLY FAST HEAD FIRST INTO A WALL
