Sister taking pain pills?!
Question: Sister taking pain pills!?
My younger sister who is going into 8th grade ALWAYS complains of a headache!. I know she is lying but my mom lets her take pain pills anyways!. My mom thinks she is telling the truth!. She takes around 4 per day every 3 days!. Today, she is complaining again but I don't want to give her the pain pills!. She can't get them because I hid them from her!. If nobody is home and she wants one, she will just take it!. Should I have a talk with my mom and tell her I think my sister is faking!? I have before and it was just a big arguement!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would suggest that u dont bring it up out of no where when u confront her!.
because that is probably how an argument will get started!.
just start talking about your sister with your mom and say something about her head aches!.
and say " mom i am worried about my sister and when she complaines about her headaches i really think that she might be faking!." and if ur mom gets mad or something just tell her how u think she is faking!. :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

How do you know for a fact she's lying!? I had serious migraine headaches for months, people thought I was lying but I was truly in alot of pain!. Unless she has told you she doesn't have headaches, or that you've found a "stash" of pills in her possesion, you have no reason to be denying her pain meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd say your mother needs to take your sister to a neurologist!. If she is indeed having migraines the doctor will prescribe her her own medication to take!. If she is in pain that over the counter medications wont help!.!.she needs to be treated!. No one should have to live in pain but I don't think it's right that she's being given the medication without the doctors "okay"!.

I know you think she is lying, but it may be the truth!. There are things that can cause a headache everyday!. I have one every single day!. There are several different things that could cause this!. Does she have any other things she complains about!? My stuff all started with a headache and then the symptoms progressed to other things!. Took a very long time to figure out what was wrong!. Actually they are saying several different things, but my MRI reports say it all!. Your mother really ought to take her to a doctor (although some if she does have one will say it is all in her head or she is making it up even if she is Not, anyway)!. But if she is not then they may be able to get to the bottom of it or really know if she is making it up!. Is it like alieve or iboprofen she is taking!? If so there is no harm there, except excessive use can cause stomach problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
