FIRST, I WOULD MAKE SURE TO TALK WITH YOUR HUSBAND AND C WHAT HE THINKS OF IT!. HAVE HIM PRESENT AS SUPPORT AND MEDIATE BETWEEN YOU TWO IF SHE GETS REALLY DEFENSIVE!. YES PEOPLE HAVE SUFFERED FROM PROBLEMS FROM "ABUSING" SUCH THINGS, ESPECIALLY TOGETHER!. FROM KIDNEY FAILURE(FROM LONG TERM USE) AND WEAKENED SYSTEMS, SCLEROSIS OF THE LIVER, ULCERS AND SO ON, HOPEFULLY SHE SEE'S THE GOOD INTENT BEHIND YOUR CONCERN AND WILL GET HELP! GOOD LUCK! REMEMBER!.!.!.GETTING FREE HELP CAN BE ANONYMOUS!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can't get her committed for a few beers and an Ambien, like the man above me suggested!. I drink wine in the evenings, and sometimes I take an Ambien too!. I'm also a straight A student at my University AND I hold down a full time job!. Nobody would know it, but a lot of people would call me an alcoholic!.

We're all addicted to something!. Anything can be a drug!. You might want to ask yourself why you're so concerned with your mother in law's addictions and not your own!. In fact, you could bring up your concern to her by opening up to her and admitting some of your own problems!.!.!. say you're concerned about the PHYSICAL repercussions of her behavior, and ask her if she's considered the consequences of daily drinking!. The thing is, she might not CARE and it's not your job to save her!. Society may have trained you to believe your efforts are valiant, but I'm telling you that your mother in law might not see it that way!. She may just want to live her life to her specifications, even if she knows she'll die early because of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can talk all you like, she's alcoholic!
She needs to be put into rehab!. Call an ambulance on her when she flips tonight and get her committed!. That's the only way to really help her at this stage!.

You should talk to a pharmacist about the interaction of alcohol with the medication she is taking!. They can give you the most accurate information!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
