Question: I feel realy depressed!?
Im only 11 and over the last 4 to six months ive been realy depressed im to scared to tell my mother and father because i dont know why i am i cry fro no reason sometimes and i cant concertate in class and other things what should i doWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 16 and i've recently been suffering from depression!.
I understand that it is hard for you to talk to people about it, but i promise you it will take alot of stress off your shoulders!.
Also have you tried to hold on to the brighter parts of your day rather than the sad, cos i know it sounds hard but it does help alot!.
If you really feel like you may be depressive, and especially suicidal, i suggest you go to the doctors!. if you feel closer to on parent, just say that you've been feeling down recently and try to explain what it is that triggers it, as i think you have to be 16 before you can go to the doctors on your own!.

Maybe when you and your mother are alone or your father, whatever one you feel most comfortable with, start by saying, "Mom I need to talk to you, lately I have been feeling really down!. I feel depressed for no reason!." She will help you, so try to talk to one of them!. It could possibly be your hormones, puberty kicking in!. If you have started your period or about to, you feel sad and cranky, it's hormones!. The next time you go to the doctors, ask him/her in private if that's the case!. Try to think, is there something bothering you, if do try to work it out!. I hope I helped!

At 11 your body is going through a roller coaster of emotions!. Crying for no reason is a big indication of that!. What sounds a little off is that you said this has been going on for 4-6 months, that is quite a long time so you should tell your parents!. I am not sure why you would be afraid to tell your mom, moms usually understand unless you and your mom do not have a close relationship!. I suggest to write in a diary, that really helps!. If by any chance you are thinking of suicide please, please talk to your teacher, the one you like the best and have an open relationship with!. They will help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Why are you scared to tell your parents!? You should tell them!. Your hormones are probably beginning to kick in, your body chemistry is changing, and there are many ways to help deal with this!. Let your parents help you!. The best thing you can do is communicate with your parents and they can help decide the best course of action!.

If you think your parents will listen to you, then dont be scared, go tell them!. Or ask your mom to schedule you an appointment with a doctor because you dont feel right, I know moms have to be in the room, so ask if you can have a privacy talk with the doc, without mom present, then discuss this with your doctor!. That will work better, if you dont have understanding parents, because the doctor will discuss this with your mom in medical terms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You need to speak to someone, doesnt necessarily have to be your parents!. speak to a close friend or someone older than you whom you're reaonably close to!. someone needs to know!. they'll be able to get you out of it, and be able to explain why its happening!. people who're older than you have already gone through stuff like this, you need to remember that!.

You know, you are right at the age where your body is going through hormonal changes that affect your mood!. Guess what!? All humans go through this, and your parents might be more understanding than you think!. As a way to start a conversation, try sharing this thread with them and see what they have to say!. u just need to take some vitamins, zinc, calcium and other minerals like that!. for this u may take "ovaltine" or any other delicious product like that!.
2-Psyche Treatment
For this u must read novels or other interesting books which u like to develop ur stamina of concentrating for long time, if u do so u will surely get more concentration in ur studies also!.

Hi May, my daughter went through a similar experience just before she had her first period at about age 12!. Don't be embarrased about your mood swings!. What you need is someone you can talk to!. Worst case, go to a drug store (we call the Chemist) and ask for advise!.

It's totally normal!. your hormones are kicking in!. Beleive me that your parents will totally understand!. Remember, they have been through it too!. they love you more than a teacher!.
