How do I stop feeling lonely?!

Question: How do I stop feeling lonely!?
Ever since my sister moved out, I have felt lonely!. Funny thing too, I thought I would be happy for her to be gone, but like a month after she left I got real lonely!. My friends for some reason think I am gothic, and I have no idea how they got that idea!. They have been spreading rumors about me being gothic at school, so their not my friends anymore!. Now that my sister is gone, my parents keep focusing on me!. It's very annoying!. What are some things I can do to take up my time!? I spend a lot of time reading, and I always envy the people in the books that have lots of siblings!. I am also very dedicated to my school work!. Has anyone else ever felt this way!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Thats really sweet that you miss your sister!.
I was glad when mine moved out because i got my own space!. She moved away for Uni and then when i moved away for uni we ended up living a few houses apart in the same street and now we are closer than ever!.

But thats beside the point!.
Do you have any pets!? You should get one if your folks will let you!.
I get lonely at my house too, so i go online and chat to people!.

They don't sound like very good friends!. Meet some new people!. You like reading, so go to the local library, you might make book loving friends!.
I know it might be lonely now, but just think of the great things you have to look forward to in life when you move out yourself!. You will meet so many new people!.
If you are old enough now why not get a job (if you don't have one) and then you can meet people that way!.!.!.

There are always places to go and things to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Isn't it funny how much siblings annoy you when you have to live with them day to day but you realize how much you love them once they're gone!? You'll get used to it!.!.!. but to help you should try to find some good friends to spend some time with!.

Also, consider getting a pet!. A dog is a _great_ fun companion and will definitely help with the lonely feelings!. Dogs just don't understand 'depressed'!. Or if they do, they do their best to get you out of it as soon as they can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think you are alone in feeling this way, but I can say that I found it very rewarding to help others also when I was in high school!. I helped someone with getting his GED and another person to get her citizenship!. I am sure that is you looked around, you might find organizations where you could volunteer your time!. It would look great on your application to college and it would be very rewarding to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Join mutual interest groups, clubs, associations, sports, gym, & take up classes in yoga, t'ai chi, Pilates, art, self defence, aerobics, creative writing, or ceramics, etc!. Consider volunteering, even from home, at first, as a means of changing your focus from your feelings of loneliness, and will help stop useless introspection!. Sections 38, & 47 at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris refer, and view section 9, about making friends, being popular, and what to talk about, or avoid, in the Wikihow articles!. Approach people with sensible questions, and find out what they're like, and, for example: "What sort of things are you interested in, Obediah!? I like archery, and train spotting, but have recently learned not to combine the two!." Next: "I'm from Argedargedah, in Australia, Obediah, Where are you from, originally!?" (BTW, It's on the map!) On volunteering outside the home, you will come into contact with supportive people, and receive positive feedback for your efforts, which will be obviously appreciated, and it will give added purpose to your life, as well as helping others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
