Yes, the only time i've been detained under the mental health act is after drinking alcohol and in my medical notes it says i was psychotic!. I don't take drugs and i only suffer from depression so i know that it is the alcohol that causes my psychoses!. I found out last week, after an admission to hospital, that alcohol can cause a depletion in vitamin B which is what effects your mind!. I'm now on a B Vitamin complex supplement and so far so good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to remember th@ all people react diff to drugs!. :Alcohol IS a drug: It is normally a depressant like Bud!. But it can effect you in other ways!. If it's make'n you paranoid, it's easy!.!.!. StopWww@Answer-Health@Com
People react to alchol in different ways!. Some people get angry, some people get very friendly, some people (me) get very enegetic and some people get paranoid!.

Yes if you drink too much over a longish period it can cause mental health problems!.
